The Portsmouth seacoast area has so much good food and drinks to offer. With all these choices people often wonder how I manage to go out to eat and drink all the time while still having money to travel all over. Queue in weekly and daily food and drink specials. It’s no secret that I love good food and a nice craft beer. Here is a glimpse into what my week may look like if I am hanging around my home base. I urge you to mix and match these places depending on your mood. Most of them have different specials for each day of the week, but these are my go-to deals nearly every week. I hope this will encourage you to go out and treat yourself, while still being fiscally responsible.
Sunday – IKKO Sushi Sunday

I love sushi, but I don’t love the damage to my wallet that usually accompanies my sushi obsession. That was until Ikko came to Dover and totally changed the game. Now you can find me there most Sundays ordering enough sushi to feed a small army. They feature a large selection of various sushi options for dine-in customers all day, every Sunday, except holidays.
| Asosrted Sushi & Sashimi Pieces | $1.45 |
| Assorted Regular Rolls | $2.95 |

Monday – The Farm Kids Eat Free!
This one doesn’t apply to me, but I wanted to show that even if you are a parent, you can still go out and have a good time on a budget. With multiple locations in the area, The Farm gives you some options. You can enjoy a nice day out with the kids on the Dover deck, then walk down the street to the kids museum or the park so they can burn off all that extra energy. The Kittery location only a short drive from the from some great ocean side or Portsmouth’s Prescott Park.

Tuesday – The Thirsty Moose All Day Happy Hour

WAIT, WHAT?!?! 50% off apps all day and 25% off Wings and Tenders?! YUP! I mainly love this because it includes chicken tenders, however they have a pretty massive appetizer menu that caters to many cravings you might be having. Pair this with a huge draft selection. The size varies depending on which Moose you decide to go to, but last I checked the Dover and Portsmouth (I have never been to the Manchester location) ones featured over 60+ draft beers.

Wednesday – Gaslight Wing and Wine Night
This is my favorite night of the week in the seacoast area. When I finish up with my day time activities, I head downstairs to the pizza pub to hang out with my favorite bartenders to eat and drink all of the wings and beers. Their $0.50 wings are baked in the same brick oven they use to cook their pizza and have six choices (Plain,

BBQ, Ginger Teriyaki, Buff-a-que, Buffalo, Habanero-Buffalo) to pick from that you can mix and match (minimum amounts per style apply.)
If you are feeling a bit more fancy, you can head to their the grill on the ground level. This is were you can enjoy 1/2 priced bottles of wine. So whether you are just looking for some time to relax by yourself, with a group of friends or on date night the Gas Light has you covered.

Thursday – Cinco de Mayo Thirsty Thursday
New Hampshire is a long way away from Mexico which I know from Google maps and experience, but Cinco de Mayo offers some good deals to help you save so you can by a plane ticket to visit the real thing! When it comes to Thirsty Thursday, these guys come in to save the day. They feature $3 drafts, $2 off ALL mixed drinks. Not very thirsty? They still have you covered with $8.99 burritos. Saturday – The Friendly Toast Late Night Happy Hour
Much like the Portsmouth Brewery, The Friendly Toast knows that people can’t always break the bank on the weekend. On Friday and Saturdays from 8-10pm you can indulge with 50% off Mimosas, Wine & Appetizers and $2 Miller Highlife, $2 PBR. I would recommend getting their early if you want to take advantage of this deal, because they always seem to fill up quick and if you wait too long you may miss out on the deals for that night.
