For the past few nights I have been chasing the tiniest of chances to capture the northern lights in the mountains. The first night was a total bust as the clouds were super thick with only a tiny break in the wrong part of the sky. The second night there was a perfectly clear sky. I think there might be a SUPER SLIGHT hint of the lights in the images I got, but could be weird cloud lighting. Regardless the night sky showed it’s beauty with the stars. Here is 3 hours of standing in the freezing cold compressed into about 10 seconds.
